Using iMovie in the Classroom

 

Why iMovie is a great App:

• App which allows individuals to make their own movies
• Located in the iTunes app store
• It is a paid application ($5.49)
• A negative aspect is that it does not include a rotate feature (the angle at which you record a video cannot be changed)
• There are endless positives 
• Active, easy and fun
• Simply and very easy to use - guides students through the steps (will not need to spend a lot of time showing students how to use it)
• Can be used individually or in a group 
• Ensures creativity  
• Portable (when the app is used with mobile technology)
